  2. Voting on 50 short-listed candidates from 2 March to 24 March 2009
  3. 11 short-listed candidates announced 2 April 2009
  4. Interviews take place in Queensland from 3 May 2009
  5. New employee announced 6 May 2009
  6. Island Caretaker starts work 1 July 2009
