Working at NASA has some additional benefits, more than just your average health or insurance coverages. Dagwood knows people in high places!
The first men and women who traveled in space — in the 1960s — depended on the sacrifices of other animals that gave their lives for the advancement of human knoweldge about the conditions in outer space beyond this planet's protective ozone layer, about the effects of weightlessness on living organisms, and about the effects of stress on behavior. Preparations for human space activities depended on the ability of animals that flew during and after the 1940s to survive and thrive.

Hey Daggie,
How are you feeling guy? We don't know any space people but our dad knows some. He graduated from college with Charlie Bolden USMC, they both flew A-6s. He also flew , also A-6s, in the Navy with Dan Brandenstein and he knows some others space guys. but none of them ever held up a sign for us.
We're glad you must be getting better.
